What is a Stephen's Minister?
A Stephen's Minister is a care giver that has undergone 55 hours of special training in one-on-one care with helping people by (1) listening, (2) caring, (3) encouraging, and (4) providing emotional and spiritual support to people who are facing a crisis, grief, loneliness, divorce, job loss or many other aspects of life's difficulties. The care you receive is confidential and extremely helpful.
A Stephen's Minister is NOT a clinical/mental health therapist and cannot offer clinical care, but rather spiritual guidance and care
Meet Our Stephen's Minister
Angela Jordan is a certified Stephen's Minister. She pursued this certification in an effort to provide spiritual care to her community in an effective way. She has participated in Therapeutic Foster Care. She currently works at the Isaiah House and is pursuing her Master's Certification in Christian Counseling through International College of Ministry. The heart behind Angela's ministry is to help people through tough times in life and overcome hurts. She loves being a positive influence by coming alongside people and helping them to navigate through difficult situations in life.
